The following information relates to refund and our 12 month warranty offered by Townsville Equipment and Sales. Please read all information carefully and should you have any questions relating to any aspect of this section, please contact us and we are more than happy to discuss and clarify if required. By purchasing a product from Townsville Equipment and Sales, you hereby agree to all terms and conditions of warranty as set out herein.


No refunds will be given if you have changed your mind, customers will have to inspect the condition of the trailer upon pickup and report to us within 7 days for initial fault. Our mechanics will then examine and test the fault and replace or repair any item deemed to be faulty, if the item cannot be repaired or exchanged, store credit will be given.


Trailers sold by Townsville Equipment and Sales are covered by the manufacturers’ limited warranty for a period of 12 months (3 months for commercial use). This warranty period is valid from the date of original purchase and covers all products against defective materials or workmanship (jockey wheel, bearings, tyres, wheels, brake pads & wearable parts are excluded). Please note warranty does not cover a product damaged due to improper maintenance, misuse or abuse, accident, external influences such as water and fire. Warranty does not cover repairs required due to normal wear and tear. Townsville Equipment and Sales take no responsibility for any damage caused to property or persons through storage and use of products and equipment. Warranty void if physical damage found on item, unauthorized repair/service/disassembling, abused, improper setup/use of the products, failing to follow product instruction, stress the product beyond its stated limit etc.

NOTE: This manufacturer warranty does not cover general consumable parts on the Trailer and rust on any painted scratched galvanised surfaces of the trailer or any of its components. (E.g. axles, springs, couplings and jockey wheels.) 

The warranty will not cover any freight or postage cost at both ends. Customer will have to inspect the condition of the trailers upon pickup and report to us within 7 days for initial fault. Warranty claim generally takes a few business days.

Please kindly retain your sales invoice as a proof of purchase and must be presented when making a warranty claim. Trailers must be returned to Townsville Equipment and Sales for warranty work to be done.

The warranty is not transferable to a subsequent purchaser if the Trailer is sold by the original purchaser during the warranty period. Your Townsville Equipment and Sales trailer comes with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. 

Inspection and Maintenance

1. Upon receipt, please inspect the condition of the trailer. Please also check the following before use. Tyres must also be checked before use.

  • Nuts and bolts.
  • Moving positions.
  • Any bending, breakage or leakage.
  • Safety chain, Ensure chain is in good condition.
  • Lights and wiring.
  • Tyre pressure and condition.
  • Any abnormal noise of vibrations.

2. Check that the fastening of tyre nuts every 80km and tighten as required.

3. Apply grease to the hubs every 800km and bearing every 1200km.
